Learning budget

One of the main values of Qatium is that its collaborators can have an individual space to develop skills autonomously to provide knowledge to the challenges we face on a daily basis and also add value to the team. For this reason, Qatium provides you with access to training, learning material (books, online courses, etc.), education (academies, mentors, teachers) or industry events (conferences, meetings, etc.) with a budget of 2,500 euros. The trainings are usually associated with a commitment, either attendance, practical tasks or a minimum number of accesses to the training platform, the goal is to make a consistent and responsible use of this tool. If a lack of commitment or responsibility in its use is detected, other alternatives could be studied to promote awareness, for example, limited access to training for a limited period of time, among others, and statistics of positive use could also be disseminated to encourage attendance to courses/training. This amount is not cumulative, and its use is voluntary. Each case will be studied on a case-by-case basis.

What can I spend it on?

Anything that will help you grow as a professional. This includes learning material (books, online courses, etc.), education (academies, mentors, teachers) or industry events (conferences, meetups, etc.).

How do you spend it?

All learning budget expenditure must be coordinated with our Office Manager.

When possible, the Office Manager will take care of the payment of stuff beforehand and deliver it to you (books, online courses, etc.). In case that it isn’t possible, you will make the purchase upfront and the Office Manager will reimburse it through your payroll at the end of the month.
